Good News! 15 Papers from Current Biotechnology Selected for "2025 Bilingual Communication Project for Sci-Tech Journals" of CAST

Recently, the 2025 Bilingual Communication Project for Sci-Tech Journals, hosted by the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST), announced the results of its selection. Fifteen papers from Current Biotechnology have been successfully selected for the project. To date, a total of 28 papers from the journal have been included. The selected papers are now being promoted both domestically and internationally via the official platform of the Bilingual Communication Project for Sci-Tech Journals (https://www.shuangyucb.com/cn).

The Bilingual Communication Project for Sci-Tech Journals is an initiative launched by CAST to implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions on developing first-class academic journals, with the goal of effectively enhancing the academic influence and communication service capabilities of Chinese sci-tech journals. Based on journals supported by the Chinese Sci-Tech Journal Excellence Action Plan and the National Society Journal Publishing Capacity Improvement Program, this project organizes outstanding Chinese and English journals across the country to carry out bilingual communication. Focusing on China’s advantageous, key, or distinctive disciplinary fields, the project selects high-quality papers from top Chinese sci-tech journals. Its core objectives are to widely disseminate China’s academic achievements, promote international academic exchanges and cooperation, and elevate the global academic influence of Chinese-language papers. In 2025, a total of 12,695 papers from 443 journals were selected for the project.
